The City of Urbana is currently seeking applicants the seasonal part time positions in Oakdale Cemetery at $12.50 hourly. This seasonal part time position is not eligible for City benefits.

The Cemetery Laborer I performs a variety a of skilled and unskilled tasks in the operation of the cemetery. Majority of the tasks are manual work requiring no special training or experience such as mowing grass with hand power or power mower; prunes shrubs and plants flowers and shrubs on grave and removes debris from grave, trims weeds, grass around stones.

The minimum qualifications for these positions include the following:
 Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent.
 Any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge to perform the work.

The selected candidate must successfully complete the following:
 Background Investigation.
 Pre-employment Drug Screen.
