Old Soul's Farms in Saint Paris is now hiring a full-time Food Processing Supervisor! The purpose of the Production Manager is to oversee and ensure the completion of basic tasks integral to daily operation of a Production Team. The Manager must hire and maintain a competent and motivated team and ensure department standards and protocol are kept at all times.

Follow and Implement Directives from Plant Manager. * Enforce and follow protocol/standards provided by Production Manager.
Follow training/coaching provided by Plant Manager.
Collaborate with Plant Manager on the creation of new protocol/standards.
Use Plant Manager as a resource for production/personnel-related knowledge.
Understand and convey the importance of the OSF Employee Manual to all Team Members.
Act in accordance with OSF Values (Trust/Respect/Care) described in OSF Employee Manual.
Team Leadership * Hold Pre-operations Meetings with the Team at the start of the work shift.
Create daily work schedule and present to Team in a clear and concise format during the Pre-operations Meeting.
Introduce and explain new procedures received from Leadership during Pre-operations Meetings.
Debrief Team on performance and quality of work after production ends.
Assign tasks to Team Members.
Designate Specialists or Operators as Crew Leads when necessary.
Verify completion of all assigned tasks.
Ensure Produce Quality Standards are maintained at all times during operations.
Ensure Processing Sanitation Protocol is maintained by Team at all times.
Ensure that Uniform Policy is maintained by Team at all times.
Hire and fire Team Members as needed, and with Plant Manager approval.
Collaborate with Production Manager to complete employee Performance Reviews and Certification Testing.
Collaborate with Production Manager on creating and maintaining a positive work environment using OSF Values (Trust/Respect/Care).
Oversee and Direct Movement of Product * Complete all paperwork or logs required for production (if necessary).
Ensure raw, finished, or waste product is moved to/from/around the processing line/machines safely and efficiently.
Ensure finished or raw product is cut, sliced, chopped, and trimmed following Knife Safety Protocol and Produce Quality Standards.
Ensure raw or finished product is fed safely and efficiently into processing line/machines.
Ensure raw product boxes or containers are stacked neatly/orderly for removal.
Communicate with Warehouse Team on internal product deliveries and pickups.
Oversee and Direct Movement of Consumables * Complete all paperwork or logs required for production (if necessary)
Ensure adequate levels of corrugate, film, and labels are easily accessible for use at all times.
Communicate with Warehouse on internal consumable deliveries and pickups.
Oversee and Direct Quality Control * Ensure finished and raw product quality is monitored as it moves through various machines and processing lines.
Ensure all foreign objects and contamination are sorted and removed from product.
Report any violations of Produce Quality Standards immediately to Quality Manager.
Collaborate with Quality Manager on methods to remove sources of potential contamination.
Machine Operation and Care * Ensure Machine Operators complete Machine Setup correctly before production begins.
Ensure Machine Operators maintain control over their assigned machines during production.
Ensure Machine Operators complete Machine Teardown correctly after production is complete.
Assist Machine Operators in completing Basic Troubleshooting when machine malfunctions occur.
Report machine malfunctions to Maintenance after completion of Basic Troubleshooting.
General Sanitation * Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
Ensure Team maintains clean work stations by sweeping and drying floor.
Ensure Team maintains clean work stations by discarding trash and debris.
Direct Team to thoroughly sweep and remove bulk waste from their assigned areas after production is complete.
Remove bulk waste from Processing facility after production is complete.
Time Management * Actively enforce time standards given by Plant Manager

Basic Job Requirements:
Able to prove 18 years of age or older.
Able to prove status as U.S. Citizen, legal migrant to the U.S., or permanent resident of the U.S.
Able to work overtime/weekends (if necessary) to complete daily required tasks.
Able to take direction and carry out orders.
Able to communicate clearly.
Able to accept criticism/coaching and act accordingly.
Physical Job Requirements:
Able to: * Stand and move on hard surfaces for extended periods of time.
Lift and move 1-50 pounds repeatedly.

Withstand cold temperatures for extended periods of time (as low as 34°F).
