The Y is seeking a cause-driven professional to be responsible for the general administration of human resources and other administrative activities. Human Resources duties include orientation of new employees, coordination of employee training, keeping accurate personnel records, benefits and workers’ compensation administration, and risk management. Administrative duties include preparation of reports, support association-wide marketing and fundraising activities, and providing support to CEO. This is a full-time, hourly position with a standard benefit package, including health insurance and family YMCA membership; subsidized childcare available.
This position requires experience and/or coursework in human resources, proficiency with common software programs (Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent) and an ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner. Certification in human resources or payroll from SHRM or equivalent strongly desired. This person must take initiative in training staff, work with leadership staff to ensure that employees are adequately trained, and serve on the Y’s staff leadership team.
Pay rate: $30,000 - $34,000 per year
