Develop and execute a system or solution-level program plans and specifications in support of the implementation and release of new products, services, or processes.
Organize and lead cross-functional team activities to ensure that all deliverables meet HP’s needs and business requirements.
Manage programs through coordination of multiple projects across multiple disciplines and manage the life cycle of the program ensuring deadlines are achieved and day-to-day functions of the program and related projects occur as required.
Provide focus on products involving all disciplines: quality, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and continuity of supply.
Communicate with customer, internal and external, on project status, design changes, ECNs, etc.
Must have a strong background in production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
Assist in the implementation of tooling, fixtures and jigs for fabrication and welding department to support HP programs.
Manage implementation of design or sourcing changes on time and within cost targets
Engage with the customer and Rittal to thoroughly understand customer specifications, standards, and areas of opportunity.
Develop timelines to support each project using MS Project.
Develop and manage program budget including capital expenditures and costs.
Coordinate prototype builds.
Support sourcing activities.
Provide launch support during the start of regular production (SORP).
Assemble core teams; hold weekly core team meetings to ensure the program is on time and on budget.
Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment through support of Rittal Production System (RPS).

Knowledge & Experience:
Associate’s degree or higher in a technical discipline (e.g. mechanical or manufacturing engineering) or equivalent training and experience.
Minimum 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment including 2-4 years of project management experience.
PMI certification (e.g. PgMP – Program Management Professional; PMP – Project Management Professional) is preferred.
In-depth knowledge and application of engineering principles and concepts.
Understanding of MRP/ERP systems and Lean methodology.
Must have AutoCAD, Pro-E or similar modelling experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Work Environment: Must work in both office and plant floor environment.
