West Liberty-Salem Science Olympiad Excels at Invitational

The West Liberty-Salem’s Science Olympiad team had a great performance at the Northview Invitational tournament in Toledo on Saturday, December 4th! Their team won several awards and had several top finishes.

Thaddeus Kitchen and Zachary Carter won gold medals with their trebuchet; Aiden Taylor and Zachary Carter won gold medals in the event Rocks and Minerals; Ashlyn Taylor and Levi Kitchen won silver medals in the event Rocks and Minerals; Aiden Taylor and Zachary Carter won silver medals in the event Ornithology; and Ashlyn Taylor and Levi Kitchen won 4th place medals in the event Write It Do It.

Next up for Science Olympiad team is the National Invitational Satellite tournament in Southern California on January 8, 2022.
