QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Training: High school diploma or GED with a CDA or equivalent. Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Work Experience Required: None.

Special Conditions: Ability to lift 40 pounds, stoop, bend, and reach. A valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to agency insurer. Involves extensive organizing, problem solving, record keeping, and time management.

This is a full-year, full-time position. Wage scale is $10.15 - 10.96 with an Infant/Toddler CDA, $13.77 - $14.87 with an Associate's Degree and $14.60 - $15.77 with a Bachelor's Degree.

As the TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, you will coordinate employee TRAINING PROGRAMS. Work with managers, employees, and trainers to coordinate the time and location of training and ensure that the necessary resources and facilities are available to properly conduct classes.  Input, UPDATE AND TRACK COURSES and attendees in the organization's Learning Management System as applicable.  May coordinate travel arrangements for trainers and serve as administrative support at training sessions.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supports departments, Management and Human Resources to IDENTIFY, PLAN, REVIEW, DESIGN, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT resource selection.
* Act as training contact and resource for the Urbana Facility.
* Participate in the development of a strategy that directly aligns to business strategy for Rittal.
* Execute on training initiatives that have been identified as a priority at the facility level as well as assist with the coordination of nationally deployed training programs.
* Assists in ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS ANALYSIS in order to develop and deliver interdepartmental and organizational solutions including but not limited to training initiatives and employee engagement.
* Aids in the implementation of appropriate CHANGE MANAGEMENT INITIATIVES and reviews current development programs to ensure adherence to company goals.
* Participate in the maintenance and utilization of LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM including online course development, deployment and registration, report generation and utilization of analytical tools.
* Presents training to various levels within the organization as required.
* Measures performance to gauge the success of programs.
* Maintains training records, manuals, course outlines, training aids, and training documentation.
* Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor’s degree in MANAGEMENT/ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR, Organizational Development or a related field
* Minimum 3-years as an incumbent in a similar role with demonstrated success in environments that require significant influencing and partnership to accomplish talent acquisition goals
* Minimum of 1-year of experience in FACILITATING INSTRUCTOR-LED PROFESSIONAL TRAINING in an adult group setting. 
* Experience recruiting for warehousing, manufacturing or operations related hourly roles, required
* CERTIFICATION IN TRAINING and development preferred. 
* Experience in identifying, designing and implementing training programs. 
* Experience with E-LEARNING SOFTWARE and administration/management and use in an LMS. 
* Proficient with MS Office. 
* Advanced skills in PowerPoint.

Your Profile
  • A degree in safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene or related degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 0 to 3 years (minimum) of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of OSHA (and/or state) standards.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Troubleshoots software and hardware problems related to Internet and Internet applications, both over the phone and on site at a customer’s premise. Reports to the Manager of Network Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Provides ongoing technical support to current Internet customers by troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and explaining features and service changes.
  • May visit residential and business locations to provide additional troubleshooting support, modem replacement, networking suggestions to improve Internet service.
  • Receives calls for assistance, documentation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software problems
  • Works with departments throughout organization to provide customer service and troubleshooting to current Internet customers
  • Perform basic PC repair tasks such as system diagnosis, virus removal, malware cleaning, software installation, etc.
  • Ability to do (or want to learn how to do) tablet and smartphone screen repairs.
  • May make recommendations regarding policies, procedures, practices, and reporting to System Administrator
  • Data Entry
  • Miscellaneous projects as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A+ or Network + certification is preferred, but not required
  • Position requires knowledge of computer operating systems, computer hardware and software, and a basic understanding of computer networking concepts (i.e. IP addressing and subnetting)
  • Position requires good interpersonal skills (i.e. communication skills and social sensitivity
  • Position requires analytical ability in order to gather and interpret data, and problem solve, but in situations where the problems are not difficult or complex.
  • Position requires basic employment skills and knowledge of relatively simple work routines, procedures, materials, and equipment. This level of knowledge is normally acquired during one through three months of work experience.
  • Position requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Position requires candidate to have a clean driving record.
