Orbis is now hiring a Maintenance Administrator.
Position Summary
Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

Essential to this Position
Coordinate all maintenance activities and manage the CMMS or EAM in support of the Technical Manager and Supervisors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan maintenance work, including time and resource estimates, part requisition, and schedules accordingly
  • Oversee plant preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance programs
  • Manage maintenance scheduling process, including weekly management meetings and maintenance team meetings
  • Work with Maintenance teams regarding tasks specific to work orders, inventory, assets, and project and labor management
  • Assist with the planning and scheduling efforts concerning major plant turn-around and equipment overhauls
  • Kit parts for PMs and ensure correct parts are in stock to support PM processes
  • Work safely and efficiently using all personal protective, safety equipment, and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S, and STW activities
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Safety sensitive position - the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and rotating shifts as required based upon the needs of the business
  • Team oriented, data driven, strong computer and Microsoft skills required
  • Excellent communication skills, follow up skills and problem-solving ability
  • Manufacturing, production background desired
  • Ability to use formulas, theories, and measurements

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
  • Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
  • Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
  • Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
  • Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
  • Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility

As the TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, you will coordinate employee TRAINING PROGRAMS. Work with managers, employees, and trainers to coordinate the time and location of training and ensure that the necessary resources and facilities are available to properly conduct classes.  Input, UPDATE AND TRACK COURSES and attendees in the organization's Learning Management System as applicable.  May coordinate travel arrangements for trainers and serve as administrative support at training sessions.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supports departments, Management and Human Resources to IDENTIFY, PLAN, REVIEW, DESIGN, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT resource selection.
* Act as training contact and resource for the Urbana Facility.
* Participate in the development of a strategy that directly aligns to business strategy for Rittal.
* Execute on training initiatives that have been identified as a priority at the facility level as well as assist with the coordination of nationally deployed training programs.
* Assists in ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS ANALYSIS in order to develop and deliver interdepartmental and organizational solutions including but not limited to training initiatives and employee engagement.
* Aids in the implementation of appropriate CHANGE MANAGEMENT INITIATIVES and reviews current development programs to ensure adherence to company goals.
* Participate in the maintenance and utilization of LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM including online course development, deployment and registration, report generation and utilization of analytical tools.
* Presents training to various levels within the organization as required.
* Measures performance to gauge the success of programs.
* Maintains training records, manuals, course outlines, training aids, and training documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor’s degree in MANAGEMENT/ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR, Organizational Development or a related field
* Minimum 3-years as an incumbent in a similar role with demonstrated success in environments that require significant influencing and partnership to accomplish talent acquisition goals
* Minimum of 1-year of experience in FACILITATING INSTRUCTOR-LED PROFESSIONAL TRAINING in an adult group setting. 
* Experience recruiting for warehousing, manufacturing or operations related hourly roles, required
* CERTIFICATION IN TRAINING and development preferred. 
* Experience in identifying, designing and implementing training programs. 
* Experience with E-LEARNING SOFTWARE and administration/management and use in an LMS. 
* Proficient with MS Office. 
* Advanced skills in PowerPoint.

Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure all environmental, health, and safety regulations are met for equipment, machinery, and facility to mitigate risk across plant.
  • Assist in developing and implementing local, state, and federal compliant EHS initiatives.

  • Create and maintain all EHS records including OSHA log and environmental reporting to comply with all legal requirements.

Your Profile

 Maintain financial reports, records, and keep consistent bookkeeping and budgetary analysis.

As the Community Liaison Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and identifying candidates for open positions and hard to fill positions. The specialist will develop working relationships with hiring managers in order to understand their needs and requirements and based on these and the organization's philosophy. You will develop and execute hiring strategies to attract the caliber of individuals required while developing candidate pipelines.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
 Develop and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with hiring managers to assess, recruit for and fill their talent needs.
 Develop an understanding of positions, programs and site requirements, developing specific recruiting plans and initiatives.
 Work with management to develop screening and interview tools, establishing criteria for determining qualified candidates.
 Use creative and innovative candidate sourcing including but not limited to: job postings, internet recruiting/sourcing, networking, social media, sourcing passive candidates, career fairs, employee referral and college recruiting.
 Review of the recruiting process and make suggestions to improve processes.

 Keep the team up to date on new trends in talent acquisition and the market.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Requires a minimum of 4-years of solid and progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferred two years high volume technical (Automation Engineering and EE Engineering) recruiting experience.
 Previous experience developing relationships in the community with STEM schools, vocations, and universities.
 Preferred experience would be developing and managing rotational or college programs.
 Previous experience with employee branding in the community.
 Requires experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).  Requires experience recruiting for multiple sites.
 Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
 Knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations impacting recruiting and hiring.
 Extensive knowledge of online and social media recruiting.
 Demonstrated experience in sourcing, networking, screening and selection skills.
