Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Urbana is now hiring a General Manager.

​The General Manager is responsible for continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and developing employees, while maintaining the integrity of the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance with management company and franchise standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons, and room rates
  • Delivers outstanding guest service and financial performance
  • Delegates authority and assigns responsibility to all employees; supervises work activities of all employees
  • Ensure staff receives proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures
  • Allocates funds, authorizes expenditures, and assists departmental managers in budget planning
  • Monitors cost controls for each department on a regular basis
  • Performs duties of a Sales and Marketing manager as needed including making sales calls; attending community business functions; working with travel agents, direct bill accounts; and coordinate sales promotions
  • Inspects guests' rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance
  • Answers patrons' complaints and resolves problems to maintain Guest Satisfaction
  • Handles and resolves employee issues
  • Conducts annual wage scale surveys and ensures employee wages follow wage and salary guidelines
  • Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating
procedures
  • Ensures bank deposits are made daily, including weekends and holidays
  • Ensures employee paperwork, work schedules and payroll are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Audits daily reports and processes monthly reports
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance with company procedures
Required Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as a hotel General Manager is required.
  • Ideal candidate will have a sound background in sales, operations, food & beverage, yield management, financial reporting and delegation.

FULL TIME POSITION:
 Direct Support Manager – Champaign County (Urbana, OH)
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the overall management of the home with emphasis on providing a ‘homelike” environment to the individuals residing in the home. Based on each consumer’s Individual Plan, the Support Manager will coordinate implementation with consumers to help meet their various social, physical, and psychological needs. Ensure that CRSI operates under the current standards and regulations established by DODD Medicaid (Title XIX), and other authorities that may dictate standards of operation including programming, consumer safety, and staff training and employment requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As a member of the interdisciplinary team, provide assistance in planning and implementation of the person centered services/outcomes for each consumer per the individual’s plan, communicate progress made by the consumers related to these services/outcomes, establish and maintain professional relationships with all members of the team, ensure the welfare and safety of each consumer at all times.
  • Coordinate and monitor the overall operation of the Residential Home, to include but not limited to staff supervision, on-call responsibilities after normal business hours, including nights and weekends, coordination of all activities, and maintenance of home. Schedule appropriate levels of staff supervision as required by consumers Individual Plan.
  • Ensure all required reports, documentation, and record keeping are thoroughly completed and maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with all trainings, in-services, and employment requirements.
  • Ensure agency policies and procedures are followed at all times and, when warranted, ensure timely delivery of disciplinary action.
  • Provide recommendations for hiring and developing employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have strong communication, writing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to use discretion and make independent decisions based on good judgment. Must possess good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Must possess acceptable employment and background screenings.
  • DSPaths credential preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position will require standing, sitting, walking, bending and lifting of moderate to heavy amounts, and intermittent pushing and pulling. May involve lifting, therefore proper lifting procedures must be followed. Additional hazards may include injuries related to behavioral incidents during consumer interaction.

​Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Feed Plant Manager, this position supervises production during their shift while promoting safety and incorporating company policies and procedures at all times.  Must be flexible to work different shifts or weekends if necessary.

  • Abide by the standards, rules, regulations and policies issued by regulatory agencies and the company
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections
  • Lead by example and make positive contributions to the team each day
  • Estimate labor requirements, prioritize and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of production during assigned shift, and observe team members to identify deficiencies, problems or unsafe work habits
  • Develop working knowledge of all equipment, systems and processes
  • Promote safe work behaviors in the feed plant at all times through the use of safety equipment, personal protective equipment and other devices and/or procedures provided or directed by the Feed Plant Manager

  • Assess employee effectiveness, work quality, training needs, efficiency, safety consciousness and housekeeping for performance evaluations
  • Review daily production reports to make sure there is sufficient inventory to process orders
  • Effectively communicate with purchasing department ingredient management needs
  • Ensure all receiving paperwork requirements have been met and communicated to the purchasing department
  • Prepare reports including time, end of shift reports, evaluations, promotions and disciplinary actions
PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
