Human resources specialist part-time

CRSI is now hiring a part-time Human Resources Specialist.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Perform upkeep of all personnel files, verifying all required records are current; updating the Human Resources Information System; assist with employee relations issues and performance management, assist with external and internal reviews and audits, and perform other specified projects as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Completing a variety of background and employment checks as well as all other pertinent paperwork of new hires including abuser registry, nurse's aid registry, Med Admin, Fraud, and BMV checks, etc.
  • Conduct new hire orientation for new employees. May be required to become a CPR/FA instructor and assist in training. Keep employment materials updated and current. Prepare materials for new hire training, annual training, etc.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the HRIS. Maintain personnel files and HRIS information keeping them current and updated.
  • Communicate monthly with managers to assist in keeping employee requirements and training up to date.
  • Generate various reports as requested.
  • Assist managers with employee relations issues as well as coaching managers on corrective action process and performance management.
  • Complete requests for employment and salary history from various sources adhering to confidentiality policy.
  • Work with managers and payroll to assist in answering employee payroll questions.
  • Assist with internal and external reviews and audits by pulling personnel files and verifying files are accurate.
  • Attend required training/in-services to gain and maintain knowledge of regulations and requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year experience in HR having knowledge of Human Resources concepts and law, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Prior experience working with an HR database essential.
  • Must possess ability to analyze and research data and prepare reports as directed.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with good time management and good organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Must be able to travel to various worksite locations in Ohio.

Community Liaison Specialist

Rittal is now hiring a Community Liaison Specialist.
As the Community Liaison Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and identifying candidates for open positions and hard to fill positions. The specialist will develop working relationships with hiring managers in order to understand their needs and requirements and based on these and the organization's philosophy. You will develop and execute hiring strategies to attract the caliber of individuals required while developing candidate pipelines.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
 Develop and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with hiring managers to assess, recruit for and fill their talent needs.
 Develop an understanding of positions, programs and site requirements, developing specific recruiting plans and initiatives.
 Work with management to develop screening and interview tools, establishing criteria for determining qualified candidates.
 Use creative and innovative candidate sourcing including but not limited to: job postings, internet recruiting/sourcing, networking, social media, sourcing passive candidates, career fairs, employee referral and college recruiting.
 Review of the recruiting process and make suggestions to improve processes.
 Coach hiring management through the overall recruiting process as needed, the recommendation of qualified applicants, follows up with management to determine the effectiveness of the recruiting plans, process and implementation.
 Follows up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of the recruiting plans, process and implementation, making adjustments as might be needed.
 Establish and maintain partnerships with colleges/universities/schools to tap into upcoming graduates and alumni.
 Promote our employer brand and create the organization's presence and participate in job and career fairs.
 Track, monitor and analyze recruiting metrics and market data and barriers.
 Keep the team up to date on new trends in talent acquisition and the market.
 Responsible for maintaining and tracking recruiting activity using ATS and preparing reports, as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Requires a minimum of 4-years of solid and progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferred two years high volume technical (Automation Engineering and EE Engineering) recruiting experience.
 Previous experience developing relationships in the community with STEM schools, vocations, and universities.
 Preferred experience would be developing and managing rotational or college programs.
 Previous experience with employee branding in the community.
 Requires experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).  Requires experience recruiting for multiple sites.
 Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
 Knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations impacting recruiting and hiring.
 Extensive knowledge of online and social media recruiting.
 Demonstrated experience in sourcing, networking, screening and selection skills.

This position supervises the HR Specialist and will oversee the day-to-day functions as needed. Oversees the maintenance of the Human Resources Information System. Assists with review, development and execution of policies and procedures, and assists managers and supervisors with Human Resources Issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have 1 – 5 years experience in Human Resources with a bachelor’s degree.
* May consider 5 plus years of experience in lieu of a degree.
* Must have strong knowledge of Human Resource concepts, practices and procedures.
