Job Description:
  • Assisting the CEO and Administrative Director with general business operations of the entire Agency
  • Assist the Administrative Director in the management of the corporate offices, including maintaining policy and procedures, files and records, proper mail distribution.

You will help distinguish the company with professionalism, best practices and care that build consumer loyalty. Among the responsibilities of the role are:
  • You will accurately maintain and update corporate records, policies, and procedures regarding the overall operation of the Agency, ensuring files and records are maintained accurately and efficiently according to federal, state, county, and Agency requirements.
  • You will organize special Agency functions and complete special projects, serve as a liaison between management staff, other Agency staff, and incoming communications.
 
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in using administrative or professional secretarial skills, or equivalent experience using professional administrative skills
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to maintain performance under stress
  • Advanced knowledge of word processing/computer skills and general knowledge of office practices and procedures.

The Champaign County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Service and Support and Administrator in Urbana to work full-time Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Preferable in a human services related field
  • Applicant must be eligible to receive certification through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities for SSA duties
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred with individuals with developmental disabilities, adult day support programs, and community residential service agencies
  • Must be able to transport clients and have a valid Ohio driver’s license with no restrictions
  • Successful applicant shall demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well independently

Salary: $19.03 - $30.52 per hour, Based upon experience

Job Description
The IT Specialist provides support based on knowledge and experience for the various technical components of the corporate IT infrastructure. This role actively participates in the configuration, optimization and operational aspects of the Workplace & Support, Network & Security and Datacenter-Operations & Engineering services.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the success of the business by being actively involved in and supportive of all principles of Weidmann's QST Process.
  • Works to analyze functional specifications submitted by users for completeness and technical feasibility prior to final approval.
  • Provides time and resource estimates to complete the planning and implementation of PC systems that meet the user’s requirements. Managing projects and user requests using the proper management techniques
  • Provides timely documentation and documentation updates for systems of responsibility.
  • Provides timely helpdesk assistance to users. This includes; phone coverage during business hours and participating in coverage for the off-hour helpdesk rotation.
  • Enhances knowledge of the systems, hardware and operating system(s) in use through on-the-job training, reading trade journals, self study courses and formal education.
  • Uses the proper techniques for analyzing, evaluating and resolving all hardware/software application problems using appropriate problem solving processes.
  • Effective in training required personnel in the use of system related technical skills.
  • Supports software/hardware inventory management and software licensing policy
  • Install/swap/upgrade/maintenance of PCs and Laptops
  • Provides testing and deployment of Windows updates and security patches on PCs and Laptops
  • Provides support for general software and hardware problems for desktops, laptops, fax, printer and copy machines

Job Requirements:
  • 3 years working experience with PCs and printers in a network environment.
  • Working knowledge in networking concepts and MS Active directory, certifications a plus.
  • Working technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
  • Extensive application support experience, Microsoft Office, Exchange
  • Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to conduct research into network issues as required.
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language.
  • Highly self motivated and directed.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Helpdesk phone coverage during business hours and participating in coverage for the off-hour Helpdesk rotation.
  • Physical Abilities include: Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components. Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings. Occasional lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects.

Caring Kitchen is looking for a part-time Case Manager to work approximately 25-30 hours per week. The successful candidate will assist residents of Caring Kitchen emergency shelter with access to supportive services. Case manager duties include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating actions required to meet the client’s service needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and client-centered
  • Handle case assignments, draft service plans, review case progress and determine case closure
  • Complete assessments and provide clients with immediate access to safety through emergency shelter
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized case management plans with clients
  • Provide crisis intervention. Assist victims of domestic violence to develop safety and housing plans
  • Collaborate with other social service agencies and law enforcement to ensure equal access to services for all clients
  • Network with other social service agencies and community groups
  • Adhere to professional standards as outlined by shelter policies and procedures
  • Assist with the training of volunteers and interns
  • Record case information, complete accurately all necessary forms and produce statistical reports
  • Maintain confidential written records of all services provided to clients
  • Have an understanding of the Housing First Model
  • Clarity Homeless Management Information System experience a plus
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director or Assistant Director

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Social Work or related field - Associate degree with experience accepted.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • US work authorization (preferred)
  • Crisis intervention training
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Training in cultural sensitivity and diversity
  • Ability to work as a compassionate team member
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong knowledge of case management principles
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
