Sanitation Team Member

Old Soul's Farms in Saint Paris is looking for a part-time 2nd shift Sanitation Team Member.

Responsibilities:

Conduct facility and equipment cleaning nightly
Dismantle and reconstruct machines
Troubleshoot Sanitation issues
Facility and equipment inspections including swabbing nightly
Follow SOPs given by quality department
Work with chemicals safely
Responsible for passing all nightly checks before shift hand off
Responsible for maintaining GMPs
Responsible for time management
Will meet daily with the quality department for feedback and scheduling changes
Prior sanitation in food environment preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand, crouch, twist and turn freely

Training and materials provided.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Hours: 4pm - 8pm, Monday- Friday

Assistant Naturalist

The Cedar Bog Association is hiring an enthusiastic individual who is 18 years old or older to work part-time, 24 to 29 hours a week, for 12 weeks and possibly up to 30 weeks through the summer. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. Hours will vary depending on the needs of Cedar Bog Nature Preserve, the Preserve Manager and the weather. The position will begin on or about April 18, 2022. The position is also open to students looking to fulfill internship requirements.

Job duties may include but are not limited to:

Habitat management and restoration
Boardwalk maintenance and repair
Mowing and trimming
Public outreach/Greeting and talking with visitors
Working in the Nature Center
Working with the Preserve Manager and volunteers

Applicants must be able to:

Work any day of the week
Work outside
Use power equipment and hand tools
Lift at least 60lbs
Communicate well
Pass a background check

Desirable skills:

Good, enthusiastic attitude
Ability and willingness to learn about the preserve
Work well with others and the public
Have knowledge of Cedar Bog and natural history in general
Work easily with gas and electric power tools
Drive a tractor/mower
Self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks unsupervised
Have reliable transportation
