Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in Urbana is looking for a diligent full-time Night Auditor to join their hotel staff. You will be responsible for being Acting Manager-on-Duty and keeping financial records up-to-date, as well as checking guests in and out of the hotel, processing their bills, and attending to any requests made by guests during your shift. You will also be the person responsible for preparing and monitoring breakfast and our coffee station in the morning, fold laundry, clean public areas within the hotel, and prepare housekeeping charts and carts for the morning.

To be successful as a night auditor, you should have excellent attention to detail, financial savvy, and a strong aptitude for customer service. Top candidates will be able to manage their time wisely, in order to properly prioritize their various duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Keeping hotel financial records in order.
  • Verifying that all accounts are balanced and supported by documentation.
  • Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Responding to guests' needs, requests, and complaints.
  • Answering the phone and making reservations.
  • Summarizing each night's operations and listing any follow-up tasks for management.
  • Performing duties on a daily checklist.
  • Preparation of breakfast in accordance with health guidelines and hotel brand standards
  • Fold laundry and prepare housekeeping charts and operations
  • General cleaning and security tasks

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
  • 1+ years in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Experience with accounting procedures and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Analytical mind, with strong attention to detail and an affinity for numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive work ethic.
  • Strong aptitude for customer service.
  • Available to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.

This position will oversee the overall operation of the press department reporting to the press department manager. The press department supervisor is responsible for production efficiencies, scrap reduction, setup reduction, training of shift personnel, and maintaining a safe work environment. The shift supervisor must be well versed in the operation of all press department equipment and the pressing process. This includes the hands-on learning and operation of all equipment within the department. The shift supervisor must also have a thorough understanding of what constitutes a quality product and how to produce it.

If assigned to second or third shift, the shift supervisor is responsible for all activities and personnel within the shop.

As a member of management, the shift supervisor must be an advocate of Ultra-met and always represent Ultra-met in a positive manner.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 / year

Primary Activities/Duties:
 Manage the Paint department that includes Load, E-Coat, Powder Coating, and Unloads operations.
 Meet/exceed all targets for quality, productivity, OEE, on-time delivery and cost.
 Implement continuous improvements to achieve a ‘World Class’ manufacturing environment through the support of the Rittal Production System.
 Continuously review new technologies or processes to improve productivity/quality.
 Develop ROI’s to justify capital expenses.
 Lead cross-functional meetings with vendors, staff, and internal support departments to improve quality, efficiency, and/or cost.
 Support the development of all employees to their full potential; establish clearly defined expectations and goals.
 Execute/manage production schedule to support assembly operations.
 Ensure TPM’s are executed on time, every time.
 Actively engage with peers & management in creation of positive workplace culture.
 Support and enforce Rittal Corporation’s safety and environmental policies.
 Drive 6S activities.

Knowledge & Experience:
 Prior managerial experience in a paint or coatings environment preferred.
 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
 Excellent communication skills.  Experienced in managing and developing staff.
 Have an understanding of Six Sigma & Lean methodology.
 Thorough knowledge of E-coating and Powder coating.
 Working knowledge of all Microsoft products.
