The Champaign County Faith Coalition is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Faith Coordinator. This grant-funded position is designed to organize and mobilize Champaign County faith groups to address unmet needs of local citizens and establish an ongoing network of collaboration among stakeholders.
Coordinator Duties Include, but are not limited to: •This position is expected to serve a minimum of 35 hours per week. •Provide coordination assistance to churches of Champaign County as they seek to address unmet needs of local citizens. •Serve as the contact person for the Champaign County Faith Coalition. •Chair monthly Faith Coalition meetings. •Establish relationships with the Ministerial Association, the Federation of Churches and other more informal church networking groups. •Establish relationships with local system of care, including EMS/Fire, Job and Family Services, Caring Kitchen, etc… •Gain awareness of current community and church resources in Champaign County. •Participate in Collective Impact (strategic planning) trainings and consultation. •Serve as the gatekeeper for Faith Coalition funds. •Submit receipts for use of Faith Coalition funds. •Partner with the Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Services Board to interview persons served with Faith Coalition funds as appropriate.
