Sutphen is now hiring Production/Automotive Electrician & Plumber/Firetruck Assembly. Job Description Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature. Complete workload within established timelines. Work independently and take appropriate actions within given scope of authority. Adapt and adjust to change orders, availability of trucks/parts, prioritize and utilize downtime appropriately.

Must be able to safely use step ladders or truck installed climbing systems to gain access to upper areas of trucks.

Experience in safely operating power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.) Experience in mechanical and plumbing trouble shooting Detail oriented with a drive for quality work output Must be able to safely use step ladders or truck installed climbing systems to gain access to upper areas of trucks Ability to read manuals/directions and apply with comprehension Experience in mounting and installing accessories Ability to measure and complete drawing-based order forms for in-house parts fabrication Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in fluctuating temperatures, bend, climb, twist, pull, push, crouch, crawl, kneel and reach Must be able to accurately read a tape measure Must be able to read diagram Must provide tool set Must provide own steel toe or composite toe boots/shoes
